I'll write a post next Thursday. Thursdays are awesome for post-writing.
Stage two: Putting Off
Oh, man! I planned to write today, but I forgot I actually have to live and stuff. Maybe I'll wait until a day when I don't have to... live.
Stage three: Epiphany
I have to live EVERYday, dangit! I have things to do, people to see, the furthest bounds of the internet to explore. My life is so hectic!
Stage four: Intense Melodrama
Why did I even start this train?! Why am I even calling it that?! What sort of crazy person am I?! I don't have time for this! I want it to be perfect! It'll never be perfect! Ihatetheinternetandmyfingersaretiredandmyeyeshurtandblogsarestupid!
Stage five: Denial
I don't have a blog.
Up next: A letter and some thoughts on it. But don't push me. :)
"I don't have a blog."
ReplyDelete-- I was about to come to the same conclusion.:)
Chuck B.
I'm feeling the same way these days...
ReplyDelete"furthest bounds of the internet." Heh.
ReplyDeleteHaving a blog is like having a child that incessantly cries for attention but is never tended to. In real life, this would be child abuse... I don't think train abuse is nearly as serious of an offense.
soooooo familiar with this routine. And with the furthest bounds of the internet.
ReplyDelete'Having a blog is like having a child that incessantly cries for attention but is never tended to.'
I think that's going to be my new blogging motto.
Don't feel bad. I just logged into my blog so I could follow yours and realized that the last time I logged into my blog was when we got home from Lebanon... a year and three months ago! My profile picture is of the three of us when Isaiah was only 3 months old! You are definitely WAY ahead of the game! :)
ReplyDeleteBlogs are great for when you have something on your mind & you can't sleep or when something exciting happens & you can't contain it. ;-)
